Skoda Auto India is clearly in no mood to slow down. 1. The Arrival of the Beast: Skoda Kodiaq RS
For the first time ever, Indian enthusiasts will get to experience the Kodiaq RS—the hottest, most powerful version of Skoda’s flagship seven-seater. While the standard Kodiaq is known for its luxury and composure, the RS version is a different animal entirely.
What makes it special?

When can you get one? Skoda has slated the Kodiaq RS launch for Q2 of 2026. It will likely come via the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route, assembled right here in India.
2. The Return of a Legend: Octavia RS (Second Batch)
If there is one car that defines the “cult classic” status in India, it’s the Octavia RS. Last year, the first batch of 100 units vanished in just 20 minutes—a testament to how much we love this sleeper sedan.
Understanding the massive FOMO (fear of missing out) among fans, Skoda has confirmed a second batch of 100 units for India.
Why the hype? The Octavia RS remains the gold standard for performance sedans in its price bracket. With its lightning-fast 7-speed DSG gearbox, precise handling, and a silhouette that looks fast even when standing still, it is the ultimate “wolf in sheep’s clothing.” If you missed out the first time, keep your chequebooks ready, because these 100 units won’t last long once bookings open in the coming months.
