KTM has officially refreshed its mid-range streetfighter, the 250 Duke, for the 2026 model year. Following the recent updates to its siblings, the 390 and 125 Duke, the 250 Duke now receives a visual overhaul designed to sharpen its presence on the road.

What’s New for 2026?
The primary update for the 2026 KTM 250 Duke is the introduction of two fresh global color schemes that are expected to hit Indian showrooms shortly:
- Ebony Black: A refined take on the all-black theme. It features a stealthy look with the signature ‘250’ lettering in orange and ‘Duke’ in white on the tank extensions. A new orange touch on the headlamp cowl adds a fresh contrast.
- Silver: Making a comeback from previous generations, the Silver variant applies a sleek finish to the tank extensions and underseat frame, balanced with subtle orange accents for a cleaner, more premium aesthetic.

Performance & Hardware
While the look is updated, the core of the machine remains the high-performance package enthusiasts love:
- Engine: The 249.07cc, single-cylinder, LC4c engine continues to produce 31 PS and 25 Nm of torque.
- Transmission: A 6-speed gearbox comes standard with Quickshifter+ for seamless, clutchless shifts.
- Tech & Features: It retains the 5-inch bonded glass TFT display, turn-by-turn navigation, ride-by-wire technology, and Supermoto ABS mode.
- Cycle Parts: Equipped with WP APEX USD forks and an adjustable rear monoshock, the bike remains one of the best-handling machines in its class.
Pricing and Rivals
The KTM 250 Duke currently starts at Rs. 2.12 lakh (ex-showroom). In the competitive 250cc segment, it continues to battle rivals like the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Pulsar N250, and the newly revealed Hero Xtreme 250R.
